This delightful village house has been tastefully renovated by the current owners.
The property is set in a traditional little white pueblo with all the village houses huddled around an imposing church. The house is in a row of traditional properties overlooking the valley of the Alpujarras and is approx 1000metres above sea level.
Entry into the property is into a hall with a storage cupboard under the stairs. There is a doorway leading to the master bedroom which maintains a constant temperature all year and has a cave storage room behind it which has had a concrete floor laid and makes a delightful feature through the voile hanging behind the bed head. The bedroom also has a hand wash basin.
The staircase leads to the upper floor which opens into a spacious lounge with a french window and juliet balcony offering beautiful views to the south over the valley.
The lounge has a lovely fireplace with woodburner and chestnut beams with cane in between. A doorway leads into the rear of the property where the bathroom/shower room is situated and then on into a large and spacious dining kitchen, the kitchen is modern and well equipped for the serious cook. There is a built in oven, hob, dishwasher the fridge freezer is available by negotiation with the vendors. There is doorway which opens into the village street behind the house.
A short flight of steps rise to the second double bedroom which also has a door opening on to the fabulous roof terrace 6m x 2.5m with mature grape vine and balustrade which offers fantastic views to the south across the valley to the Sierra de La Contraviesa.
The village is a typical Alpujarran village , the locals are extremely friendly and welcoming to newcomers, there is a bread van daily, a fish man once or twice a week and the a vegetable man on Saturday afternoons. There is a bar in the village with a terrace with spectacular views.
