A beautiful village house in the heart of Las Alpujarras

This is a recently reformed village house in Berchules on the edge of the Sierra Nevada natural park.

The property has been traditionally reformed and has a moorish style throughout.

The upper floor of the property is the lounge which is very large and has french windows, an open fireplace and also a wood burning fire. There are two entrances to the property one on the ground floor and a second from the street to the rear of the house.

Leading from the lounge is a staircase which gives access to the roof terrace which offers spectacular views to the surrouding countryside and also offers glimpses of the Mediterranean on a clear day. The terrace also has the benefit of the sun all day long. There is a bedroom which is accessed via a doorway from the lounge and has french windows and a dressing room with large wardrobes on either side which then leads into the ensuite bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and basin and lovely handmade tiles.

The floor in the lounge is tiled with handmade moroccan terracotta tiles with intermittent stars giving a lovely effect.

A terracotta tiled staircase leads down to the middle floor,where the kitchen and a further bedroom are situated . The kitchen is traditional in style with beamed and slate ceilings and a cosy dining area with french window overlooking the village street.

A large bedroom with ensuite shower room is also on this middle floor and a spacious landing which currently is also used as a design studio.

A further staircase leads to the lower ground floor , the main entrance door to the property gives into a hallway with a doorway to the right leading to the 3rd bedroom also with ensuite shower room and a sitting room which is lovely and cool for the hot summer days. Across the hallway is the laundry / storeroom and a further smaller room utilised as an office by the music producer owner.

The property is bursting with moroccan features and has been beautifully reformed by the current owners.
