Another
well presented property close to the Central Alpujarras town of
Cádiar. This village house is totally habitable and only
requires decorating to the new owners personal taste. The access
is very good and as you can see in the main photo there is a garage
with this property.
You
can drive into the garage and access the house from an internal
door or if arriving on foot through the main front door. The accommodation
on the ground floor level consists of the following rooms: Hallway
from front door, direct access on the right into the garage. On
the left a Double Bedroom and going along the Hallway a further
Bedroom, at the far end of the Hallway there is a small Bodega (wine
cellar) which could be used as such or alternatively turned into
an office or study space.
The
stairs up to the first floor open out into a large reception area
and several more rooms lead off from here including: Double Bedroom,
Lounge and Dining Room (currently used as a Bedroom) and a Kitchen
which has a fireplace in one corner. Beyond the Kitchen is the Bathroom
which does have a bath, basin, bidet and toilet. The Stairs up to
the second floor are next to the Bathroom.
The
second floor contains three rooms one which is used as a Utility
room and this also has a fireplace. The two other rooms are currently
used as a Bedroom and a Storeroom, but this floor does have a lot
of potential to open it out and have a lovely big Lounge with Patio
Doors leading out on to the great Roof Terrace. The Roof Terrace
is about half the with of the building and covers the whole length.
The views from here are lovely and take in the village church the
nearby properties and the surrounding hillsides.
The
property is only 14 years old so although is does not have the traditional
wooden beamed ceilings and quirky uneven floors, it is a clean,
comfortable and modern building with good sized rooms, plenty of
windows to let in the light and sunshine and has ample garage and
storage space something which the older houses tend to fall down
on. Possibly the only downside with this property would be the tiles
on the Bathroom and Kitchen walls!
The
property is located in a lovely quiet village just 10 minutes walk
along a quiet country road from the much busier town of Cádiar
so one could enjoy the peace and tranquility of village life and
know that everything you need on a daily basis is just a short distance
away. So if you fancy going out for a meal and/or an evening out
with friends in some of the local Cádiar bars it's just a
short walk home which means that one of you does not have to worry
about driving.
