This traditional
village house is a lovely property with much charm and potential.
Situated on a corner and next to an alleyway means that it is only
attached to another property at the back and has three free sides
for windows and natural light to enter. Located just off the main
square in Yátor it has excellent car access and nearby parking.
The
house does not appear to need any major structural work done to
it, but would benefit from some internal refurbishments and a better
access out onto the Roof terrace, which itself also requires re-surfacing
work and tiling.
The
entrance to the property opens into a Hallway and directly in front
of this is an old stable type room which certainly requires cleaning
out renovating. Also leading off from the Hall on the right is the
Kitchen complete with fireplace, beyond this room is another which
could be a Dining room or Lounge. To the left of the Hall is a Shower
room complete with bidet, shower, toilet and basin.
Going
up the stairs to the First floor you enter a large open plan Lounge
which as you will see in the photos below also requires some refurbishing.
It still has the original chestnut beams exposed in the ceiling
and other nice details such as the built-in shelves typical of the
area.
To
the right of this room is another very large Bedroom which has had
some minor repairation work done to it including two new windows.
This was originally two rooms, however the dividing wall was removed
to create a larger room which is very light and airy.
A
wooden staircase goes up from the Lounge on to theRoof Terrace and
although the access is a bit of a tight squezze it's not dangerous.
the views from the Terrace are nice, looking out over the Church
Square and the surrounding hillsides.
This
is a really good buy for someone with the skill, time and inclinatin
to do most of the internal work themselves and once finished this
property would become a very desirable home.
