The

the courtyard which could be rented out , used for a guest annexe
or simply as an extension of the aready spacious accomodation.

the Sierra de la Contraviesa and the Mediterranean beyond and on
a clear day the rift mountains of Africa!

down the stairs to the ground floor there is another entrance to
the property with a walk in pantry / storeroom of the hallway. A
door leads from here to terraces at the rear of the property with
two seperate al fresco dining areas, a storeroom and a wood store.
To
the right hand side of the property is the era (threshing circle)
which provides a wonderful area to catch the sun and enjoy the incredible
views.
There
is a large store room where the bank of large gas bottles are stored
which have automatic change over when one bank of bottles is empty.
This also includes the central heating boiler, and washing machine.
There is also a further room for the solar power equipment and batteries.
The
Casita: This is attached to the main building but has its own seperate
access, it has an elegant shower room, a fully fitted kitchen with
all white goods and a large and impressive split level lounge with
wood burner and also with double french doors and balcony offering
views to the south.

The
property has spring water and is available all year round from a
spring on the land. Central heating which is a must for the colder
winter days in the mountains. Solar power with generator back up
when neccessary.
The
access to the property is along a track maintained by the Junta
de Andalucia, from the main road between Berchules and Juviles in
the high Alpujarras. Both of the villages are about 10 minutes drive
where schools, shops, bars, restaurants, banks etc can be found.
The area is very popular with walkers and hikers, artists, photographers
and people seeking the real Spain.
Granada
airport - 75 minutes drive. Almeria airport - 90 minutes drive.
